RULING THE RUNWAY: SEXY, SUITED, SAINT LAURENT
Saint Laurent's SS25 show was a bold statement of timeless elegance and Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello brought the house's archival spirit back to life with strong, tailored silhouettes and a heavy emphasis on androgynous styling. Masculine blazers, paired with flowing, pyjama-like ensembles, evoked a sense of effortless-cool. Luxurious fabrics like velvet, satin, and sheer materials infused a sense of opulence throughout the collection.

Bella Hadid’s return to the runway marked a highlight, embodying the understated Parisian chic that defined the show. With sharp, clean lines and retro references, the collection paid homage to Yves Saint Laurent’s original muses, particularly Loulou de la Falaise, while pushing the boundaries of modern femininity.
“My last men’s show in March had been all about tailoring, but based on flou; I wanted this one to be the opposite—more strict. It’s not about when I would do a tuxedo for a woman which was worn naked underneath. The suits come with shirts, ties. You’re dressed. It’s about control, and power, in a way.”
Vaccarello's direction continues to blend innovation with Saint Laurent’s heritage, ensuring the brand remains both relevant and revered. For SS25, the collection strikes a perfect balance between archival reverence and fresh, contemporary design, promising wearable yet bold pieces for the season ahead.
